Revisions to Protective Order Guidelines and Form Protective Order

New versions of the District of Kansas Protective Order Guidelines and pre-approved form protective order are now available on the court’s website, and take immediate effect.  No significant substantive changes were made to the Guidelines.   The form protective order contains slight grammatical changes and one significant substantive change: optional paragraph 18 now reflects that, under Fed. R. Evid. 502(d) & (e), disclosure of a privileged document will not be deemed to waive a party’s privilege claim, regardless of if the disclosure was intentional or inadvertent.
