With 25 years of state and federal litigation and dispute resolution experience, Amy Coopman is skilled at helping parties build bridges to resolve disputes. Amy has experience mediating a wide variety of civil disputes, individual, class and qui tam actions, including Employment (workplace personnel disputes, discrimination, wage and hour, safety and health, etc.); Personal Injury (physical injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, motor vehicle, civil claims for assault, etc.); and Business (contracts, transactions, accounting, dissolution, partner or organizational disputes).  Amy transitioned to a full-time mediation practice in 2020. ​

In 2019, Amy received intensive mediation training at the Civil Mediation Workshop conducted by the faculty of MU Law School’s nationally-recognized Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution. She is also a 2017 graduate of the CCC Leadership Program for Women which included conflict resolution and negotiation training by and for women.

Fee Structure
Rate:
$330/hour. The hourly rate includes all time spent by the mediator, including preparation time, telephone time, and attendance at the mediation session. Travel time in excess of two hours round trip is billed at the regular hourly mediation rate.
