Skyler O’Hara was appointed as the Clerk of the U.S. District Court of the District of Kansas on September 1, 2021. Skyler graduated from Kansas State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2003 where she served as an Articles Editor for the Kansas Journal of Law and Public Policy. Following law school, Skyler was a law clerk for Senior Judge Wesley E. Brown in the District of Kansas in Wichita from 2003-2006. Since 2006, Skyler has served as Deputy Director and Director of Court Administrative Services in the District of Kansas. She is a lifetime member of the Federal Court Clerks Association and is the 17th Clerk of Court since the district was founded in 1861.
