A response is required even if the summoned juror is away at college or on active military duty. You may respond online (preferred) through eJUROR — on the recipient's behalf or provide the web address and participant number to the intended recipient so they can complete the response themselves. During the online process, you will have the opportunity to indicate name and address changes, as well as note if you are responding on someone else's behalf. Be sure to log in using the name exactly as it appears on the summons. If responding by mail, complete the Jury Information Form found at the bottom of the paper summons on the recipient's behalf, and note on the back of the form why they are unable to serve, and return it to the Court.
