The U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas announces the appointment of three Article III judges to the federal bench. President Trump signed their commissions on June 18 and they were officially sworn in on June 22.

• Anthony J. Powell was confirmed by the Senate on June 10, 2026. Judge Powell succeeds Senior Judge Julie A. Robinson and is seated in Wichita, Kansas.
• Anthony W. Mattivi was confirmed by the Senate on June 9, 2026. Judge Mattivi succeeds Senior Judge Daniel D. Crabtree and is seated in Topeka, Kansas.
• Jeffrey M. Kuhlman was confirmed by the Senate on June 2, 2026. Judge Kuhlman succeeds Senior Judge Eric F. Melgren and is seated in Wichita, Kansas.
